96b. Memory of Broken Dreams

I guess it only makes sense that there's so many extras for #96. The most logical place to put the pre-battle stuff Anyhoo, I forgot to upload this. This was for the 100 Flash Close video

This drawing was part of an incomplete work meant to mock .:Team Mikaiyo (see below). I never got to drawing Mikaiyo and Saori looked retarded (to some, she always does. Sigh.)

Well! All the way in Iwagakure, little ol' [/oxymoron] Prince Toyotomi is getting ready to go to war, bandages and all, despite everybody's wishes. No one of the Ootowari household wants him to go to war not because he is likely to die, but because they don't want him to have any chance at fame. Fame = bad news for Akatsuchi, whom the current Tsuchikage (the old man) selected to become his successor in place of Toyotomi, who originally was going to become the heir. I think it was Akatsuchi anyways. I'm not that sure anymore.

That fine ugly ol' blade he's carrying (yes, it's a blade. A blade in a sheath) is supposed to be the "blade of honor" bogus thing that all Rock Country Feudal Lords have carried. It is capable of usage in real battle but it was never used for the such.

The title is as so because the blade represents his broken dream of becoming the Tsuchikage; he's the Feudal Lord of Rock Country instead and therefore all items associated with it remind Toyotomi of his failure, which in turn reminds him of what caused his failure: his fight with Saori. Thus becomes the memories part.
